Pastor Dennis Mays

Pastor Dennis has lived in Springfield, MO his whole life. He loves SW Missouri and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. What Dennis specifically loves about this area are the people. He says, "These are the most genuine, friendly, loving, and hard-working people in the nation. These are my people."

Dennis has a deep passion to see God's Word change people's lives. One of his favorite verses is Romans 1:16, which says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek." The Gospel is powerful and for all people! Dennis' passion for God's Word was exponentially increased during his time in jail (you read that right) and at Baptist Bible College where he graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Studies.

Dennis is married to Emily and they have two daughters, Annabelle & Abigail.
